Selection Procedure: Selection will be done through a multi-staged process as mentioned below:

Stage I: Document Verification: All relevant / required documents in original will verified and only those clearing the document verification stage will be allowed to participate in the remaining recruitment process.

Stage II: Physical Standard Test: Candidates clearing document verification will appear for Preliminary physical screening for conforming to the prescribed physical standard.

Stage III: Written Examination& Skill test: Candidates qualifying the Physical Standard Test (PST) will be allowed to appear for the written test and Skill test. The question paper for the written test will be bilingual and can be answered either in Hindi or in English.

Written test for the post of Sub Inspector – Staff Nurse, ASI – Pharmacist, ASI – Lab Technician & ASI – Radio Grapher will be of 200 marks and for the post of HC – Midwife will be of 100 marks.

Practical (Skill test of respective cadre / trade) for the post of Sub Inspector – Staff Nurse, ASI – Pharmacist, ASI – Lab Technician & ASI – Radio Grapher will be of 40 marks and for the post of HC – Midwife will be of 20 marks.

Stage IV: Interview (Personality test): Those who qualify in the written examination & skill test would be required to appear before the Selection Board for Interview.

Viva Voce for the post of Sub Inspector – Staff Nurse, ASI – Pharmacist, ASI – Lab Technician & ASI – Radio Grapher will be of 10 marks and for the post of HC – Midwife will be of 5 marks.

Stage-V: Detailed Medical Examination: Selected candidate will have to clear a medical fitness test by a Medical Examination Board.

Candidates found eligible for the post applied will be called to participate in the selection process. The exact date and venue of recruitment test will be intimated to the eligible candidates through Admit Card.

The post has all India liability and selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad.

चयन प्रक्रिया

अभ्यर्थियों का चयन उनके लिखित परीक्षा, शारीरिक मानक परीक्षण, शारीरिक क्षमता परीक्षण, कुशलता परीक्षा और चिकित्सीय परीक्षण में प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया जाएगा.

Directorate General Border Security Force invited application for recruitment to the post of Assistant Aircraft Mechanic (ASI) and Constable (Storeman). Physical Exam

Successful candidates in the written exam will be called for the physical exam. In this male candidates have to run for 4.8 kms in less than 30 mins and women have to run 2.4 kms in less than 18 mins. Based on the speed marks would be given for the physical test with the maximum marks of 100.

Main written exam

The main exam will also consist of 300 marks and test candidates in General knowledge, Analytical ability .

Post Graduate Diploma in Police Science – Admissions Open in Raxa Shakti University

The Raxa Shakti University started the first batch of Post Graduate Diploma in Police Science on 16th August 2011. A new classroom with a capacity of about 60 students has been developed at the Meghaninagar campus of the University. The classroom consists of all the modern required facilities including a projector and a wide screen which displays different presentations or tutorials via connecting to a laptop. The first batch of PG-Diploma has a strength of 26 students who have completed their graduation with at least 60 percent marks in their respective fields.

The students pursuing this course will be educated on issues related to internal security as per the prescribed syllabus of PGDIPS. The PGDIPS is a 12 month course, divided into three semesters. The RSU expects its students to exhibit a very high level of discipline. It also emphasizes on regular attendance by the students. A minimum of 80 percent of attendance is compulsory for all RSU students.
